Android Tip #3 - Re-size widgets (android 3.0+)

One of the main things that differentiates android to IOS are the widgets, widgets can do various things like display your Google library or tell you the time. Some widgets on larger screen devices can be hard to see or out of proportion to the screen. On android 3.0 honeycomb the problem of small widgets was solved by allowing users to make them bigger.Follow the steps below to re-size widgets on android 3.0+ devices.

1. Long hold on the widget you want to re-size.
 2.  4 blue circles will appear.
3. Drag the circles to re-size the widget.
4. tap the back button to finish.

Android Tip #1 - Battery use

When looking for a new tablet or phone most people will look at the mAh  (Milliamps Hour), the amount of capacity the battery has. On many devices there will be apps from the manufacturer or your network provider taking up battery life, Or just apps you use daily which eat up batter life .These can be stopped and monitored using the steps below.

1. Go to your setting menu.
2. click Battery.
3. Then end apps which take up your battery. Or make sure that you use less power consuming apps.
